Peer Reviews

At its December 2007 meeting, CEBS decided to test its peer review mechanism by assessing the application of its Guidelines on the implementation, validation and assessment of Advanced measurement (AMA) and Internal Ratings Based (IRB) approaches, both from a home and host perspective. The first phase of this exercise, namely the assessment by CEBS members of whether they have or not implemented these Guidelines, has been completed by June 2008.The self-assessments are published below, along with a report summarizing factual results derived from the self-assessments. It should be noted that the answers provided by the 27 EU banking supervisory authorities have not yet been challenged by the Review Panel.
